Kitchen Cabinet Designers

Job Locations: Coast Design Kitchen & Bath Showroom, Gulf Shores, Alabama 36542

Coast Design Kitchen & Bath, a division of Mobile Lumber, is seeking experienced designers to join our growing team at our brand new showroom in Gulf Shores. This position works directly with walk-in clients, homeowners, builders and contractors on remodeling, renovation, and new residential construction projects throughout Baldwin County.

Requirements:

  • Experience in kitchen design, cabinetry, interior design or related field
  • Experience with 20/20 design software preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cabinetry, layouts, and residential construction practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with clean record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen

Responsibilities:

  • Design functional, aesthetically pleasing kitchen and bath spaces for residential clients
  • Meet with homeowners, contractors and builders to understand project goals, budgets, timelines
  • Create cabinet layouts, elevations and design presentations using AutoCAD and 20/20 software
  • Perform accurate field measurements, site visits, and project take-offs
  • Prepare project estimates, specs and product selections
  • Coordinate with vendors, installers and internal team throughout project life cycle
  • Follow up on client leads and maintain strong relationships
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Stay current on cabinetry trends, materials, finishes and industry standards
