Kitchen Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Kitchen Designer to join our team, dedicated to transforming everyday spaces into stunning, functional kitchens that reflect our clients’ unique styles and needs. As a Kitchen Designer, you will combine your passion for interior design with technical expertise to craft customized kitchen solutions. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and functional requirements for their kitchen remodels or new installations.
• Create detailed kitchen layouts using SketchUp, CAD software, and other design tools, incorporating lighting design and aesthetic elements.
• Present design concepts and product options confidently, upselling premium features such as lighting fixtures, cabinetry finishes, and accessories.
• Conduct product demos and explain features to customers while demonstrating knowledge of lighting sales, remodeling, and construction processes.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth installation and maintenance of kitchen systems.
• Assist customers with inside sales and outside sales efforts by providing exceptional customer service, negotiating prices, and closing high-end sales.
• Maintain organized records of customer interactions, account management details, POS transactions, and merchandising displays to enhance retail math accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in interior design or kitchen layout design using SketchUp, CAD, or similar software tools.
• Strong knowledge of renovation processes, construction standards, lighting design, and remodeling techniques.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on high-end sales and upselling premium products.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills combined with organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Familiarity with retail sales operations including POS systems, cash handling, merchandising, and marketing strategies.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to retail math, measurements, and budgeting for remodeling projects.
