We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer and Sales Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and a strong understanding of kitchen remodeling and renovation. This role involves working closely with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet their needs. The Kitchen Designer will be responsible for managing projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
This is an in-person role, not remote. Travel to Keith's Kitchens Showroom and to client's homes is required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for kitchen design.
- Measure at the client's home.
- Create detailed kitchen layouts and designs using 20/20 design software, ensuring optimal functionality and aesthetics.
- Present design concepts to clients through product demos and visual aids, effectively communicating ideas.
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors & suppliers throughout the remodeling process.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, project progress, and account management tasks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients.
- Assist clients in selecting materials, finishes, and appliances that align with their design vision.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in kitchen design or interior design is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., CAD, 20/20).
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and close deals.
- Knowledge of remodeling processes and materials used in kitchen renovations.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address client needs effectively.
- A passion for interior design with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.
