Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Kitchen Equipment Technician with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, freezers, and a wide range of kitchen equipment. A valid driving license is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, dishwashers, and steamers.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce equipment breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, walk-in chillers, cold rooms, freezers, ice machines, and other refrigeration systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from kitchen or facility staff.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of service tasks, repairs, and parts usage.
• Maintain tools and testing equipment in good working condition.
• Coordinate with external suppliers or service providers when needed.
• Comply with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain service logs and documentation for all maintenance activities.
• Support equipment installation and relocation projects as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in kitchen equipment maintenance and repair
• Proven expertise in handling HVAC, chillers, freezers, and other refrigeration systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components in kitchen environments
• Familiarity with safety and operational standards in commercial kitchens
• Ability to read technical manuals and electrical schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Valid driving license is mandatory
• Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or emergencies when required
