Kitchen Equipment Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment to ensure smooth operations. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other appliances.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic issues with kitchen machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports for all equipment serviced.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Recommend replacement or upgrades when equipment is beyond repair.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Equipment Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in commercial kitchen equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various types of appliances.
• Good understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant technical certification is a plus (e.g., HVAC, refrigeration, electrical).
