At Kitopi, we’re on a mission to satisfy the world’s appetite. We are looking for a skilled and dependable Kitchen Equipment Technician to support our high-performance kitchen operations by ensuring all equipment runs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, grills, refrigeration, dishwashers, etc.)
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
  • Coordinate with kitchen teams and external service providers as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Equipment Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and electrical systems.
  • Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
  • Relevant technical certification or diploma preferred.
