Job Title: Male Kitchen Helper

Department: Kitchen / Food Production

Reports To: Head Chef / Kitchen Supervisor

Location: Al Qouz Industrial Area 3

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including workstations, utensils, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools, ensuring they are properly cleaned and stored.
  • Receive and organize kitchen supplies, ingredients, and deliveries according to food safety standards.
  • Support the cooking staff during meal preparation and service hours.
  • Dispose of waste and maintain proper cleanliness of garbage areas.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor of shortages or maintenance needs.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations as per company policy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Prior experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or food service environment is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Working Conditions:

  • Dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • May require flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Standing and manual handling for extended periods.
