Responsibilities:

· Assist in basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping ingredients.

· Prepare and portion ingredients as instructed by the chef.

· Ensure all ingredients are stored properly and used efficiently.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including counters, equipment, and storage areas.

· Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

· Assist chefs and cooks during food preparation and service.

· Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.

· Report any safety or maintenance issues to the Chef In Charge/Supervisor.

· Perform other related duties as assigned by the head chef or Supervisor.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.

· Basic understanding of food safety practices and procedures.

· Good physical condition, able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.

· Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
