Job Summary
Support the kitchen staff in various tasks, including food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in preparing ingredients such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables, and marinating meats for shawarma.
2. Support cooks in basic cooking tasks and assembling dishes as directed.
3. Ensure all food items are stored properly and labeled according to safety standards.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
5. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring stock is rotated and stored correctly.
6. Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
7. Ensure all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and tools are sanitized regularly.
8. Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
9. Performs other duties assigned.
