Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Ensure all kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and organized.
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, and equipment according to health and safety standards.
Assisting with Food Preparation:
- Support chefs and kitchen staff by prepping ingredients and assembling dishes.
- Assist in plating and serving food during events.
Inventory Management:
- Help manage supplies and inventory, including tracking stock levels and notifying supervisors when items need to be ordered.
- Ensure proper storage of food items and supplies.
Event Support:
- Set up and break down dining areas before and after events.
- Provide assistance during events, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in catering or food service is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with heat and noise.
