Kitchen helpers (fast-food restaurant)

Position Summary:
The Kitchen Helper assists the kitchen team in preparing food and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. The role includes basic food preparation tasks such as cutting, breading, rolling, pizza preparation, frying items, and dishwashing to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation including cutting vegetables, breading chicken, and rolling items.
• Support in pizza preparation and assembling ingredients as per recipe.
• Operate fryers to fry food items according to kitchen standards.
• Help maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils, and equipment.
• Perform dishwashing and proper storage of cleaned utensils.
• Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are followed.
• Assist kitchen staff busy hours.
• Support in basic kitchen tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of kitchen work or prior experience in a fast-food kitchen is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation.
