Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
  • Train, develop, and mentor kitchen staff on food safety protocols, culinary techniques, and customer service standards to foster a skilled and motivated team.
  • Implement shift management strategies to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed to build a cohesive and efficient team..

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within Assisted Living, Fine Dining or Hotel experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and procedures; relevant certifications preferred.
  • Serv Safe Certification
  • Abilities in supervising teams, training staff, and managing shifts effectively.
  • Background in food industry management including inventory control, budgeting, and food production.
  • Excellent Resident service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence in diverse restaurant environments.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure i while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. Pay: $35,000.00 - $35,360.00 per year
