Duties

  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and preparing food in the kitchen.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
  • Support cooking processes and instructions accurately to ensure quality and consistency
  • Handle food handling responsibilities safely, including proper storage, labeling, and sanitation practice

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and food safety protocols
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and interact positively with guests
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Training in food handling safety is desirable but can be developed on the job
  • Be able to work alone or next to someone on the weekends
  • Making sure prep is done before your shift end
