About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Steward to join our team. The role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, handling equipment properly, and supporting smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
• Wash and store crockery, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen tools.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling properly.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
• Assist with general cleaning of back-of-house areas.
• Handle breakages and hazardous items safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• Basic English communication (local language preferred).
• Previous restaurant or hotel experience is an advantage.
