Steward / Kitchen Assistant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Steward / Kitchen Assistant to join our team.

This role combines kitchen hygiene and maintenance responsibilities with basic food

preparation support to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including utensils, equipment,

floors, and storage areas.

• Wash and properly store dishes, tools, and cooking equipment.
• Assist chefs in basic food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning, and storing

ingredients).

• Help in plating and garnishing dishes when required.
• Receive, organize, and store deliveries and supplies.
• Dispose of waste properly and follow recycling and safety practices.
• Monitor stock of cleaning and kitchen supplies, reporting shortages as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Provide general support to chefs and kitchen staff as required.

Skills & Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina for standing long hours and handling lifting tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
