Stewarding Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stewarding Supervisor to oversee the stewarding team and ensure the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of all kitchen and back-of-house areas. This role is vital for maintaining hygiene standards and supporting smooth kitchen operations in accordance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of stewarding staff (dishwashers, cleaners, porters, etc.).
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and stewarding equipment; assist in requisitioning supplies as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed and equipment is maintained.
• Train, schedule, and support stewarding team members in proper cleaning and safety techniques.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, local health regulations).
• Coordinate with the culinary and service teams to support operational needs during busy service periods and events.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with property and environmental policies.
• Maintain proper storage and organization of kitchen equipment and cleaning materials.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department.
• Assist in performance reviews and discipline of stewarding staff, as required.

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
