Kitchen Steward

We are looking for a dedicated, reliable, and hardworking Kitchen Steward to join our team!
In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and smooth operation of our kitchen and service areas. Your work ensures that our chefs and service team can perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and equipment
• Keep the kitchen, dishwashing, and dining areas clean, tidy, and free of debris
• Assist with unloading and storing deliveries, ensuring correct storage procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, and all work surfaces
• Support setup and breakdown of service areas
• Ensure dishware, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and properly stored
• Handle waste and recyclables following hygiene and safety standards
• Provide chefs and kitchen staff with clean tools and equipment during service
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when stock is low
• Keep the dishwashing area organized and safe
• Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or stewarding role is an advantage, but not required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Good physical stamina (standing for long periods, lifting items)
• Team player with good communication skills
• Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the kitchen wherever needed
