The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring quality food preparation, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and managing kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, culinary knowledge, and the ability to maintain a productive and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff in food preparation and production.

Assist in planning menus, estimating food requirements, and ordering supplies.

Monitor food inventory and reduce wastage.

Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items.

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen that meets health and safety regulations.

Train and mentor kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and productivity.

Enforce kitchen policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

Communicate with front-of-house and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Handle any issues or complaints related to food quality or staff performance.
Maintain food cost and labor cost controls in line with company guidelines.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or in a similar role.
