Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Technician Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technicians, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of kitchen technicians
- Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, refrigeration units, dishwashers, gas ranges, etc.)
- Schedule preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and company standards
- Manage inventory of spare parts and tools
- Train and mentor junior technicians
- Prepare maintenance reports and track service performance
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration Engineering (or related field)
- 4–6 years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment maintenance
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems, gas systems, refrigeration, and HVAC basics
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Strong leadership and communication skills
