Kitchen Technician Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Technician Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technicians, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of kitchen technicians
• Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, refrigeration units, dishwashers, gas ranges, etc.)
• Schedule preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and company standards
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools
• Train and mentor junior technicians
• Prepare maintenance reports and track service performance

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration Engineering (or related field)
• 4–6 years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment maintenance
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of electrical systems, gas systems, refrigeration, and HVAC basics
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Strong leadership and communication skills
