Responsibilities and Duties:
· Operations Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall management and operations of the parking facility.
- Supervise parking staff/operators and ensure compliance with SOPs and parking regulations.
- Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Manage the proper functioning of all parking equipment.
- Ensure the Parking Management System/Software is continuously operational.
- Deploy parking attendants and security staff as per operational and situational needs.
- Verify that all team members report on time according to the duty roster.
- Conduct pre-shift huddles and assign responsibilities to operational staff.
- Ensure daily cleaning routines are completed and equipment is checked before operations begin.
- Monitor and manage traffic flow to prevent congestion in and around the parking lot.
- Respond to incidents or events in the parking area according to SOPs.
- Oversee proper shift handover/takeover procedures at the start and end of each shift.
- Perform cash reconciliation and handover procedures as per SOPs at the end of shifts.
- Monitor parking lot occupancy levels to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Identify and resolve operational issues across civil, electrical, communication, hardware, and software areas to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Report equipment malfunctions or software issues in line with provided guidelines, SOPs, and based on severity level.
- Regularly inspect the parking lot for required repairs and escalate issues to the Maintenance Lead for timely rectification.
- Coordinate with the technical team to carry out maintenance and repair tasks with minimal operational downtime.
- Conduct rigorous follow-up with the Maintenance Team to ensure immediate fault resolution and prompt restoration of site operations.Enforcement Liaise with Traffic Police/ Special Police Officer(s) to enforce the defined parking regulations. Report any violation (such as parking in “No Parking Zone”) to the Traffic Police/ Special Police Officer(s) for timely action and imposition of penalties and fines. Page 3 of 4 Ensure that the parking rules are followed within the vicinity of the parking lot and fines to be imposed as per KMC parking rules in case of any violation within the premises of the parking lot.
Customer Care Responsibilities:
- Manage on-site customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Resolve customer service issues promptly and effectively.
- Record all customer feedback formally and escalate to management for service improvement.
Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, local authorities, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Reporting Responsibilities:
- Ensure all equipment and systems function as required; report and follow up on any issues to minimize operational disruptions.
- Report operational progress, delays, or issues to management in a timely manner.
- Submit incident reports in accordance with provided SOPs and guidelines.
- Prepare and submit revenue collection reports at the end of each shift.
- Maintain and submit daily attendance records for parking staff/SPOs at the beginning of each shift as per company procedures.
Experience Required:
1–2 years of experience in a similar role within facility operations, parking management, customer service, or security. Ability to read and communicate effectively in Urdu; basic English comprehension is desirable.
