Job Overview

We are looking for on-camera creators to help support content and community activity on Knocknock, a live social/video platform built around real-time interaction.

This is a flexible, paid remote opportunity for people who are comfortable on camera, naturally engaging, and interested in social interaction and short-form content.

A big part of the role involves spending time in the app during open Lounge hours, interacting naturally with users, helping create a higher-quality platform experience, and in some cases turning those moments into TikTok content.

This is a strong fit for people who:

What You’ll DoLounge / Live Interaction

• Join the app during open Lounge hours when you are available
• Be visible on camera and maintain a natural on-camera presence
• Interact with users in a friendly, clear, and engaging way
• Send strong, high-quality on-camera openers (“Knock Knock” videos) when appropriate
• Help create a better overall experience on the platform, especially for female users
• Maintain a visible, active, and socially engaging presence during your session

Content / TikTok

• Review clips generated from your in-app sessions
• Make light edits if needed (for example, a caption)
• Post approved content to your TikTok account
• Submit the TikTok link back through the app

What a “Knock Knock” Video Is

A Knock Knock video is a short on-camera video opener used to start an interaction on the app.

In simple terms, it is your first video introduction — how you get someone’s attention, make a good first impression, and start the conversation.

We are especially looking for creators who can make these openers feel:

• natural
• confident
• friendly
• visible
• socially engaging

• comfortable with evening availability during Lounge hours

Requirements

• Must be 18+
• Must be comfortable appearing on camera
• Must be able to show face clearly during live interaction
• Must have a TikTok account or be open to posting short-form content
• Must have stable internet and a functional phone setup
• Must be able to communicate clearly and naturally in English
• Must be comfortable with flexible remote work

Preferred Qualities

• Strong on-camera presence
• Good energy / social confidence
• Comfortable speaking to new people
• Creator mindset or interest in growing a page
• Experience with TikTok, livestreaming, social content, or community-facing work
• Talent-based angles are a plus (music, DJing, performance, humor, strong personality, etc.)

Important Standards

This role is not a fit for people who prefer to be passive, anonymous, or off-camera.

Creators in this role are expected to:

• keep face visible during interaction
• avoid black-screen or low-effort behavior
• avoid sexual or explicit behavior
• avoid aggressive or inappropriate openers
• help create a comfortable and engaging experience for users

Schedule / Hours

• Remote
• Flexible
• No fixed weekly schedule requirement
• Creators can join on the days they are actually available
• Lounge is open during set hours each day

Current Lounge hours:

• 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM PT
• 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM ET

Referral Opportunity

Creators may also have the opportunity to earn referral income.

If you refer someone who becomes an active creator on the platform, you may receive 10% of that creator’s earnings, subject to program rules and approval.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.5 – 10 per week
