About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR compliance. This role will support managers and employees in fostering a productive workplace while ensuring accuracy in payroll, 401(k) administration, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll and benefits operations, proficiency in HR systems, and bilingual fluency in English and Korean.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll and manage 401(k) administration with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Support department managers in HR-related responsibilities and employee relations.
- Review and maintain employee time records; ensure timely approvals.
- Manage and document accrued PTO, vacation, holiday pay, shift differentials, and bonuses.
- Oversee employee benefits enrollment, administration, and compliance.
- Maintain secure HR records and ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Respond to employment verification requests, unemployment claims, and other HR documentation needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HR procedures, and federal/state/local employment laws.
- Perform additional HR and payroll duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in HR operations with a focus on payroll and benefits.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Experience with ADP payroll systems preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
