Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Project Assistant Manager to support both onsite operations and Project Management (PM) activities. This role assists the Project Manager in overseeing daily field operations, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, and managing project documentation, schedules, and cost tracking. The ideal candidate will serve as a key link between the field and office teams — supporting the PM with planning and reporting while ensuring smooth progress, safety, and quality control at the construction site.
Your duties will include:
· Assist the Project Manager with project planning, scheduling, and budget tracking.
· Prepare project reports, meeting minutes, and documentation for management review.
· Support contract administration, including subcontractor agreements and change order tracking.
· Help manage project timelines using software tools such as Primavera P6, Procore, and Excel.
· Monitor procurement and material delivery schedules to prevent project delays.
· Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure transparency and project alignment.
· Support the Project Manager in overseeing daily onsite operations and supervising field activities.
· Conduct daily site walks to monitor work progress, safety compliance, and quality standards.
· Prepare daily and weekly field reports including photos, inspection logs, and progress notes.
· Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections to ensure smooth workflow.
· Assist in resolving onsite issues or conflicts in collaboration with the PM and site supervisors.
· Maintain accurate and organized field documentation for audits and project continuity.
Your qualifications are as follows:
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
· 2–8 years of experience in construction, field management, or project coordination roles.
· Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and industrial/manufacturing projects.
· Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, CAD, and Primavera P6 preferred.
· Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments.
· OSHA 30 certification preferred.
· Fluent in both Korean and English
