Egypt Education Platform is excited to announce an opening for a KS1-KS2 Homeroom Teacher for the academic year 2026-2027 at one of our distinguished schools, GEMS British International School of Madinaty. We are seeking a dedicated and innovative educator to foster a love of learning among our students in Key Stages 1 and 2, creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum for KS1 and KS2.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing personalized feedback to guide student learning.
  • Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity, exploration, and collaboration among students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to support diverse learners and ensure all students reach their potential.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to keep them informed about their children's progress and encourage their involvement in school activities.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to foster a cohesive educational program and participate in school events.
  • Continuously seek professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Possess a valid teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience in primary education, particularly with KS1 and KS2.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Passion for fostering a love of learning and commitment to contributing to student growth.
  • Adaptability and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
