Kubernetes & Cloud Engineer

Role Purpose:

Kubernetes & Cloud Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and container platforms. This role focuses on deploying, automating, and supporting cloud workloads and Kubernetes environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Kubernetes and Cloud Engineer will work closely with cloud architects and DevOps teams to support the deployment and management of cloud-native applications and containerized workloads.

Key Accountabilities:

1-Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters:

Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads in cloud environments.

2-Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates:

Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates using Terraform or similar tools.

3-Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD:

Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

4-Monitor and maintain cloud platform health:

Monitor and maintain cloud platform health, performance, and reliability.

5-Implement observability solutions for cloud:

Implement observability solutions for cloud and container environments.

6-Troubleshoot infrastructure:

Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues across cloud environments.

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.

• Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build.

• Knowledge of Linux system administration and networking concepts.

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Stack driver.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
