Working Hours:

  • Summer: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM
  • Winter: 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM

Salary: Up to PKR 140,000

Role Overview

Mindwhiz is seeking a technically strong and proactive L2 IT System & Support Engineer to manage and maintain our IT systems and provide advanced technical support. This role includes responsibility for system stability, security, performance monitoring, and resolving complex technical issues beyond L1 support.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Windows environments, networking fundamentals, and infrastructure operations, along with strong troubleshooting skills and provide dedicated support to the Construction and Estimation teams for their specialized tools and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Windows-based systems, servers, and Active Directory, including users, groups, GPOs, and access control.
  • Monitor system performance, server health, backups, storage, and security alerts to ensure stability and data integrity.
  • Apply patches, updates, and routine maintenance, maintaining proper documentation and SOPs.
  • Troubleshoot and support LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and firewall configurations.
  • Resolve escalated L1 issues within defined SLAs and perform root cause analysis for recurring or critical incidents.
  • Support Microsoft 365 / Exchange, enterprise applications, and endpoint devices.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
  • Coordinate with vendors and assist in system upgrades, deployments, and IT improvement initiatives.
  • Identify recurring technical issues and recommend long-term infrastructure enhancements.
  • Provide specialized support to Construction and Estimation teams for software tools, ensuring smooth operation and resolving technical issues affecting workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT Support or System Administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows OS and Windows Server.
  • Solid knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Experience with backup solutions and monitoring tools.
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems and incident management.
  • Experience supporting Construction and Estimation software such as Plan Swift, Bluebeam Revu, Primavera P6, Procore, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Relevant certifications: CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+.
  • Experience with endpoint management tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (Azure / AWS – basic level).
  • Experience with remote support and endpoint management tools.
  • Experience with Procore.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs140,000.00 per month
