We are seeking a qualified and experienced L2 Network Engineer to support, operate, and enhance enterprise network infrastructure. The role focuses on routing, switching, firewall management, and maintaining secure, high-availability network services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and wireless networks.

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Monitor network performance using monitoring and logging tools and proactively resolve issues in line with SLAs.

Implement and maintain firewall configurations including security zones, NAT policies, and access control rules.

Apply and maintain security controls such as ACLs, port security, segmentation, and VPN configurations (site-to-site & remote access).

Support incident response activities including traffic analysis and root cause investigation.

Conduct wireless network improvements including coverage optimization and troubleshooting.

Perform policy reviews and cleanup activities to ensure compliance and performance efficiency.

Coordinate with security teams regarding audits, vulnerability findings, and remediation actions.

Liaise with vendors and service providers for network upgrades, incidents, and technical support.

Provide L2 technical support to IT teams and end users for network-related issues.

Participate in on-call support and emergency network changes when required.
Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.

Strong knowledge of routing, switching, LAN, WAN, and VPN technologies.

Experience in firewall management (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent).

Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security principles.

Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Ability to analyze and resolve network performance and security issues efficiently.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Cisco certification (CCNP preferred).

Awareness of security compliance, audit processes, and vulnerability management.

Adaptability to a dynamic and evolving technology environment.
