Job Description: Technical Support Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our Bahria 7 office (Rawalpindi, Pakistan). This shift-based role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving challenging problems, working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor production environments using dashboards to anticipate and prevent potential issues.

Troubleshoot, resolve and escalate technical issues effectively.

Act as the first point of contact for technical queries, providing timely resolutions.

Communicate technical concepts assertively and clearly, ensuring non-technical stakeholders understand critical information.

Write basic Python or similar scripts to streamline workflows and solve technical challenges.

Use collaboration tools like Jira, Microsoft Teams, and Azure DevOps to coordinate tasks and updates.

Participate in rotating shifts (PKST):

- Shift 1: 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM

- Shift 2: 1:00 AM - 10:00 AM

- Shift 3: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Required Qualifications:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Experience with monitoring tools and dashboards in production environments.

Assertive and responsible, capable of independently addressing and resolving issues.

Basic scripting knowledge in Python or a similar language.

Bachelor in a Technical field; or business major with strong technical skills

Experience:

At least 2 years of prior experience.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with online collaboration tools such as Jira, Microsoft Teams, and Azure DevOps.

Experience in shift-based roles or a 24/7 support environment.
