We are seeking highly motivated candidates to join our Quality team as a QC Laboratory Analyst (1 year contract) to be placed in İzmir.
Your ‘day to day’
- Plan and perform tests and analyses (physical/chemical) on the quality of tobacco, semi-finished and finished products according to applicable procedures and analytical methods.
- Ensure the integrity and the timely reporting of analysis results in the appropriate systems.
- Execute and lead processes for eliminating losses through effective problem-solving and process control, ensuring business results for the assigned laboratory.
- Monitor and coordinate instrument calibration for accuracy, precision, and reliability of analysis.
- Investigate and resolve deviations and contribute to defining appropriate corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with QMS requirements and follow standards for accreditation 17025 and ISO 9001.
- Promote and apply all rules concerning PMI quality, environment, health and safety.

You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent is a plus.
- Preferably 2-3 years of experience in a laboratory environment.
- Experience in QMS, ISO standards (17025, ISO 9001), and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Advanced English communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with problem-solving tools.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
