Job Summary

The Lab Analyst will be responsible for testing, analyzing, and ensuring the quality of lubricants and related petroleum products. The role requires strong hands-on experience with HPLC and other analytical techniques to ensure products meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine analysis of lubricants, base oils, and additives using HPLC and other lab instruments.
  • Conduct physico-chemical tests such as viscosity, density, flash point, pour point, TAN/TBN, and moisture content.
  • Prepare samples, run tests, interpret chromatograms, and document results accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, BIS, and internal quality standards.
  • Maintain calibration, validation, and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments.
  • Record observations, prepare test reports, and support batch release activities.
  • Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Follow laboratory safety, GMP, and housekeeping standards.
  • Support R&D and production teams during trials, audits, and inspections.

Required Qualifications

  • B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a lubricants, petrochemical, or oil manufacturing laboratory.
  • Strong working knowledge of HPLC (mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
