Lab Chemist Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lab Chemist Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of their construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement comprehensive quality assurance and control programs for all construction projects.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and testing to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Develop, review, and maintain quality control procedures and documentation.
• Analyze and interpret quality data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination regarding quality matters.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project personnel on quality-related issues.
• Investigate and resolve quality non-conformances and defects in a timely and efficient manner.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality-related activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Proficiency in quality management systems and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
