Lab Manager

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Laboratory Manager to oversee daily lab operations, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and lead a team of technicians and scientists. The Lab Manager will be responsible for managing resources, equipment, and workflows to support accurate testing, research, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the laboratory.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards (NABL, ISO, NABH, or equivalent).
• Develop, implement, and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Manage laboratory staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and procurement of supplies.
• Monitor test accuracy, validity, and timely reporting of results.
• Prepare and manage laboratory budgets, inventory, and cost control.
• Ensure proper documentation, data management, and confidentiality of records.
• Collaborate with doctors, researchers, and external agencies as required.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and staff development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of laboratory experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols, equipment, and quality assurance systems.
• Familiarity with accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage high-pressure situations.

Work Environment:

• Hospital / Diagnostic Center / Research Laboratory.
• Full-time role with occasional extended hours as needed.

Reporting To:

• Medical Director / Head of Department / Operations Manager.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
