Lab Technician

• Collect blood, urine, stool, sputum, and tissue samples
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of samples
• Perform routine tests (blood counts, urinalysis, cultures, etc.)
• Use laboratory instruments like microscopes, centrifuges, hematology analyzers, etc.
• Operate and calibrate lab equipment
• Ensure instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and maintained properly
• Analyze results and prepare reports
• Assist pathologists or doctors in diagnostic procedures
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards
• Follow proper procedures to avoid contamination or errors
• Enter results into hospital/lab information systems
• Maintain logs and inventory
