We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Paint Lab / Paint Seibi Technician to join the team in Georgetown, KY. This is an onsite role, and we are looking for candidates who can support paint testing, robot programming, and lab operations.

Position Details

  • Contract Duration: 12 months, with potential for extension
  • Location: Georgetown, KY (Onsite required)
  • Travel: No mandatory travel
  • Overtime: Up to 15% (primarily for Saturday cleanings or project deadline extensions)
  • Interview Process: Two rounds via MS Teams

About the Role

In this position, you will conduct tests and evaluations of new paint equipment and materials, support paint trials, and program robotic paint applications. You will also ensure equipment is functional, maintain lab operations, and work with Kawasaki robots.


What You’ll Be Doing

✔ Reviewing test matrices with project leads
✔ Mixing and preparing paint for testing
✔ Programming and operating paint robots (Kawasaki)
✔ Adjusting paint properties to achieve quality targets
✔ Spraying test panels and parts per testing matrices
✔ Running trials and adjusting parameters
✔ Supporting maintenance and cleaning of paint equipment
✔ Checking paint equipment for proper operation
✔ Using paint measurement instruments


What You Bring

✅ 2 years technical degree or equivalent work experience
✅ Strong multitasking and time management skills
✅ Creative problem solver who can analyze problems and develop solutions
✅ Initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions
✅ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
✅ Familiarity with Allen Bradley (AB) and Toyopuc systems
✅ Programming experience is a huge plus


Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications
Experience in paint manufacturing, formulation, or testing
Additional related certifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
