Lab Technician

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our medical laboratory team. The candidate will be responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate reporting of results, and following quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a clinical laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:
The Laboratory Technician will collect, label, and process patient samples such as blood, urine, and other specimens. The role includes conducting hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and serology tests as per standard protocols, operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, calibrating equipment, and ensuring proper documentation of test results. The technician must follow infection control guidelines, laboratory safety policies, and quality control procedures while coordinating with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Qualification:

• BSc MLT or DMLT (mandatory)

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory

Skills & Requirements:

• Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and testing methods
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment efficiently
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail
• Knowledge of NABL/quality standards preferred
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in shifts if required

Salary: As per industry standards (discussed during interview)
