Lab Technician

Polycoat Products is looking for a QC Technician to join the Cold Cast team. We are looking for someone who is well organized and is eager to learn and work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform quality control testing on liquid samples created/supplied/manufactured by the production department.
• Calculate test results, log and report results in a timely manner
• Prepare and test analytical measurements such as titrations, moisture content, viscosity etc.
• Calibrate instruments as needed
• Maintaining equipment in proper working order and maintain a clean work area
• Practice safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations
• Filing and organize all reports and paperwork pertaining to work

Qualifications:

• Degree in Chemistry or related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to understand SOPs and be able to clearly communicate with other team members
• Excellent organization skills and ability to multitask and work collaboratively and independently
• Ability to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for long periods of time
• Punctuality and dependable attendance are essential

Pay rate is upon experience.

• 8 hour shift (Day shift)
