Lab OperationsFacility Management

Manage lab layout and organization, ensuring lab space is optimized for efficient workflows

Track and manage lab equipment and assets-from procurement requests and receiving through installation, maintenance scheduling, and eventual decommissioning

Maintain an up-to-date equipment inventory and asset register

Conduct and document regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard reviews for the lab environment
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Demonstrated organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Effective written and oral communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams of researchers, engineers, vendors, and facilities staff
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience supporting an R&D, engineering, or robotics lab environment

Familiar with OEM safety standards and requirements

Basic understanding of robotic systems and vacuum and electro-mechanical equipment
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced research environment where priorities can shift quickly
