Lab Technician

<Job Summary>

<Duties>

  • Conduct detailed laboratory procedures related to ophthalmology, optics, and anatomy to support product development and quality control.
  • Manage daily laboratory operations, including sample preparation, testing, and documentation to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Apply laboratory techniques such as CNC lathe machining and optical measurements to produce precise components.
  • Maintain strict adherence to ISO 13485 standards for medical device quality management systems, ensuring all processes meet regulatory requirements.
  • Perform quality assurance checks by implementing laboratory procedures that verify product specifications and safety standards.
  • Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to assist in product testing and validation processes.
  • Support laboratory management tasks including inventory control, equipment calibration, and safety compliance.

<Qualifications>

  • Proven experience in a laboratory setting, preferably within ophthalmology or optical industries.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, techniques, and quality assurance practices.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards for medical device manufacturing and documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC lathe machining or optical measurement tools is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ophthalmic concepts to inform testing protocols.
  • Previous retail sales experience is a plus, demonstrating strong communication skills and customer-focused approach.

Pay: $23.25 - $28.00 per hour
