Lab Technician

We're looking for a Lab Technician for a 2–3 month contract in San Jose, CA, with the possibility of extension. The pay rate is $30–$35/hr, and we'll provide daily lunch.

This is an ideal role for a reliable and organized individual with a background in hardware or a lab environment. You'll be the key to keeping our lab running smoothly, allowing our engineering team to focus on their work.

What You'll Do:

• Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient lab, addressing clutter and trip hazards.
• Manage supplies by tracking inventory, unpacking deliveries, and placing new orders.
• Coordinate with the landlord for any necessary maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with our diverse team of engineers to ensure proper handling of all materials.

What You'll Need:

• 3–5 years of experience in a hardware or lab-related environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong focus on cleanliness and order.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• The flexibility to handle a variety of tasks in a dynamic startup setting.
• The physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Experience in a startup or robotics environment is a plus.
• An Associate's (AA) degree is a plus.
