Lab Technician I

What You'll Do:

The Metals Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the Metals laboratory by following methodologies and preparing samples

Prepare samples for a wide variety of testing procedures, following outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation
Document activities and report results accurately and concisely
Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation
Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas
Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment
Other duties as required

What You'll Bring:

High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred but not required
