Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Labor and Employment Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and related legal areas. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex legal issues, provide strategic counsel to clients, and support the firm’s commitment to justice and compliance. The position requires strong analytical skills, excellent research capabilities, and a commitment to professional excellence.

Duties

  • Provide expert legal advice on employment law, including workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and employee rights.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, policies, and related legal documents.
  • Represent clients in litigation matters related to labor disputes, wrongful termination claims, or workplace harassment cases.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other legal research tools to support case strategies.
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
  • Assist clients with compliance issues related to federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases involving estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, or other legal specialties as needed.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of labor and employment laws as well as familiarity with estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients’ interests.
  • Proficiency in legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw; experience with Legal research and legal drafting is essential.
  • Demonstrated litigation experience with the ability to handle cases from inception through resolution.
  • Exceptional writing skills for drafting clear and persuasive legal documents.
  • Legal administrative experience is preferred for managing case files efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a Law office environment while maintaining attention to detail. This position offers a dynamic environment for attorneys committed to advancing their expertise across various areas of law while supporting clients through complex legal challenges.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
