Core Responsibilities and Job Role
- Clinical Monitoring & Assessment: Monitor maternal vitals, contractions, and fetal heart sounds; perform vaginal examinations to assess cervical dilation and fetus position.
- Delivery Assistance: Assist obstetricians and gynecologists during normal deliveries and cesarean sections, ensuring a sterile and safe environment.
- Patient Care: Administer pain medication, monitor postpartum progress, and provide immediate care to newborns, including resuscitation if needed.
- Documentation & Preparation: Maintain accurate patient records, prepare labor room equipment, and manage medical supplies.
- Support & Education: Coach mothers during labor, provide emotional support to families, and educate on postpartum care.
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license, with GNM or B.Sc Nursing.
- Experience : 2-5 years experience in a labor and delivery setting
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
