Laboratory Chemist

A lab chemist plays a crucial role in scientific research, quality control, and product development across various industries. Their responsibilities typically include:

· Conducting experiments: Designing and performing chemical experiments to analyse substances and develop new materials.

· Testing and analysis: Using techniques like chromatography, spectroscopy, and titration to test raw materials and finished products

· Maintaining lab equipment: Ensuring instruments are calibrated and functioning properly for accurate results

· Documenting findings: Recording observations, preparing reports, and presenting results to teams or regulatory bodies

· Ensuring compliance: Following safety protocols and industry regulations such as GMP, ISO, and environmental guidelines

· Troubleshooting issues: Identifying and resolving problems with chemical processes or instrumentation

· Collaborating with teams: Working with scientists, engineers, and technicians to improve formulations and processes
