Your Role


As a Laboratory Compounder within the Consumer Fragrance team, you will play a key role in supporting the Creative Fragrance (CF) setup we are building in Dubai. This expanded local structure will enhance efficiency, speed, and responsiveness for Middle East projects by enabling locally compounded fragrance oils. Your contribution will be essential to ensuring high‑quality compounding, sample preparation, and laboratory excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Fragrance Compounding & Quality Control

  • Compound fragrances requested by perfumers for projects and evaluations.
  • Perform basic quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards.

Sample Preparation & Customer Delivery

  • Prepare and dispatch customer samples according to project requirements.
  • Select appropriate containers, packaging, and labeling to ensure safe and professional sample delivery.

Laboratory Housekeeping & Organization

  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and well‑organized laboratory environment.
  • Sort, clean, and store materials, tools, and equipment in accordance with lab procedures.

Inventory & Supplies Management

  • Conduct counting, inventory, and restocking of raw materials, consumables, and equipment.
  • Ensure laboratory stock levels remain adequate to support daily operations.

Equipment & Database Maintenance

  • Assist in the maintenance and basic care of laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Maintain and update internal databases related to formulas, raw materials, and sample documentation.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Follow all guidelines outlined in the Integrated Management System, procedures, hygiene plans, and approved work instructions.
  • Report any incident, deviation, or non‑conformity to your manager immediately.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform any other tasks within your professional group that may be assigned by your supervisor.


About You


You are a hands‑on, detail‑oriented laboratory professional with a passion for fragrances and product creation. You thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced creative environment and pride yourself on delivering accurate, high‑quality compounding work that supports perfumers and project teams. You are reliable, proactive, and disciplined, following procedures with rigor while contributing to the overall efficiency and organization of the lab.

What you bring


  • Experience in laboratory compounding, ideally within fragrances, cosmetics, consumer goods, or related technical fields.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision when weighing raw materials and handling fragrance ingredients.
  • Strong organizational skills, ensuring a clean, orderly, and compliant laboratory environment.
  • Ability to follow formulas, SOPs, safety guidelines, and hygiene standards with consistency and accuracy.
  • Advanced English (mandatory): able to communicate clearly in an international team, understand technical documentation, and follow global procedures without difficulty.
  • Comfort using basic digital tools and internal systems (databases, labeling systems, MS Office).
  • A collaborative and supportive mindset, working closely with perfumers, evaluators, and CF colleagues.
  • Adaptability and a positive attitude, thriving in a multicultural and multinational environment.
