Laboratory Manager

We are looking for an experienced Laboratory Manager with strong expertise in managing operations of a Geotechnical & Material Testing Laboratory. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in laboratory management, quality control, testing operations, and team supervision within the civil/geotechnical industry.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in laboratory operations within a geotechnical/material testing laboratory
  • Strong knowledge of soil, concrete, aggregate, asphalt, and field testing procedures
  • Experience in handling laboratory staff, technicians, and daily operations
  • Familiarity with ASTM, BS, AASHTO, and other international testing standards
  • Experience in quality management systems, audits, calibration, and reporting
  • Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • UAE experience will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day laboratory operations and testing activities
  • Ensure all testing is conducted as per approved standards and procedures
  • Monitor laboratory quality, safety, and equipment calibration
  • Supervise laboratory technicians and maintain productivity
  • Prepare reports, maintain records, and ensure timely submission of test results
  • Coordinate with management and clients regarding laboratory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, ENAS, EIAC, and project specifications where applicable

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field

Preference:

  • Immediate joiners will be given priority.
