Laboratory Manager – Geotechnical Testing

Job Overview

Falcon Group is seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee geotechnical and soil testing laboratory operations. The role involves managing laboratory staff, ensuring compliance with testing standards, maintaining quality control, and supporting geotechnical investigations for infrastructure and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the geotechnical testing laboratory.
• Supervise and train laboratory technicians and engineers.
• Ensure testing is conducted according to ASTM, BS, and AASHTO standards.
• Oversee soil, aggregate, compaction, and geotechnical testing programs.
• Maintain laboratory accreditation, calibration, and quality control procedures.
• Coordinate with project teams and consultants for testing schedules and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
• 8–12 years experience in geotechnical/material testing laboratories.
• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation testing, and laboratory standards.
• Experience managing laboratory staff, equipment, and quality systems.
