We are looking for a Laboratory Manager at the Jafurah Desalination Plant to ensure top-quality water and compliance with WHO standards, leading lab operations with excellence and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily laboratory operations.
• Lead the sampling program and ensure accurate physico-chemical and microbiological analyses.
• Implement and monitor laboratory QA/QC procedures.
• Coordinate with external laboratories when required.
• Ensure compliance with WHO drinking-water standards and Employer requirements.
• Maintain, calibrate, and optimize laboratory equipment.
• Supervise, train, and support laboratory staff.
• Provide clear reporting and collaborate with plant operations to ensure sustainable performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in quality control laboratories (water, environmental, food, or industrial sectors).
• Strong knowledge of titrimetry, spectrophotometry, gravimetric methods, and other standard analytical techniques.
• Basic knowledge of microbiological analyses.
• Proficiency in sampling and sample preparation.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in water quality or environmental laboratories preferred.
