Position Summary
A full-time Research Technician position is immediately available in the Hodge Laboratory at the Bowles Center for Alcohol Studies to conduct pre-clinical experiments related to alcohol and drug self-administration and behavior and mouse models of Alzheimer’s disease.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Management Preferences
- A high level of precision, organization, and attention to detail
- Experience with animal behavior, appetitive, locomotor or behavioral tests
- Experience with stereotaxic surgery, histology, immunofluorescence or RT-PCR
- Expertise using Microsoft Office software
- The ability to work cohesively with a team
