Laboratory Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Civil Laboratory Supervisor to oversee laboratory operations related to construction materials testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising lab staff, ensuring compliance with industry standards, maintaining equipment, and delivering accurate and timely test results to support civil engineering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the civil/materials testing laboratory
• Ensure testing is performed in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, BS, or relevant standards
• Manage and train laboratory technicians and junior staff
• Review, verify, and approve test results and reports
• Coordinate sampling, testing schedules, and resource allocation
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records, and inventory
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, safety regulations, and accreditation requirements
• Communicate test results and technical findings with engineers, clients, and project teams
• Assist in audits and implement corrective actions when required
