Laboratory Technician

• Perform various tasks associated with lab function including but not limited to maintenance and monitoring of equipment.
• Execute laboratory procedures in accordance with established protocols, work instructions, and quality guidelines.
• Record, organize, and maintain accurate laboratory data, test results, and documentation in both written and electronic systems.
• Prepare laboratory media, materials, and supplies to support biological testing activities.
• Perform tasks in support of laboratory inventory and maintenance.
• Ensure laboratory spaces remain clean, functional, and compliant with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with training in laboratory processes and standard job functions.

• Consistently following established laboratory procedures to generate accurate, reliable, and well documented results
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and inspection ready laboratory environment
• Effectively supporting team priorities through responsiveness, communication, and collaboration
• Demonstrating attention to detail while managing multiple laboratory tasks and responsibilities
• Contributing to team efficiency by proactively identifying needs, issues, or improvements in laboratory operations

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related life sciences field with no prior professional laboratory experience, or one or more years of professional laboratory experience without a bachelor’s degree
• Foundational knowledge of laboratory techniques and standard laboratory practices
• Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot common laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office applications for data entry and documentation
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately record and organize laboratory data
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team‑based environment

• Prior experience working in a regulated laboratory environment
• Familiarity with laboratory safety standards, chemical handling, and safety documentation
• Experience supporting quality, testing, or product related laboratory activities
